My Background and Approach
I am a cognitive behavioral and system thinker. I only use science-based approaches. I shy away from fluff and psychobabble, and I'm all about getting you the results that you are seeking. I assign homework and hold people accountable for taking steps in between session to change destructive patterns and improve their life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a cosmopolitan world traveler and out-of-the-box thinker. I lived in three different continents, speak three languages and am forgetting another three. I love diversity, and am experienced in working with alternative lifestyles, unique cultural factors, and neuro-diversity. I enjoy using humor to defuse difficult situations, but I am laser-focused in helping you get the results that you want. I use eastern and western methods including meditation and mindfulness to help people navigate through challenging times. I am practical and direct. I do not beat around the bush. I do not sit quietly. I do not let you stay in pain and wallow in the same mistakes for longer than necessary for your ultimate growth. I do not judge, and I am your biggest fan.
