About My Clients
Maybe you are unhappy with your relationships, your job, or there is some part of you that struggles with difficult to understand feelings. Perhaps you live with unresolved trauma that you have avoided facing. Maybe you live daily with depression and anxiety and struggle to get out of bed in the morning and get through your day. Together, we will make a plan for change for you so that you can finally live the life that you want for yourself. I create a safe space where change can happen.
My Background and Approach
I can teach you relaxation techniques to help you manage feelings of depression and anxiety. We will develop new coping skills, cognitive thought patterns, and personal narratives. These changes will promote growth and change for you and allow you to break away from negative thought patterns, intense feelings, and troubled relationships. I have 14 years plus experience working in the mental health field . I have a compassion personality , provide a safe space to talk , trained in tools that helps to build the best life for ourselves . Being part of my clients journey to achieve those goals for themselves keeps me hopeful about the world - we are all better because you are in it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. With my personal struggles from my past I am able to identify with some of the challenges my clients are currently going through . Many years of working in community mental health I worked with clients that made me realise everyone of us could be in the same place that made me a better person . Being nonjudgmental is a key factor in my personality and approach of helping people. My passion as a young child was imprinted to help others and led me who I am today .
