About My Clients
I have worked with a wide variety of clientele in both group and individual settings, covering a wide variety of issues. I am a Nationally Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I work with issues such as Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Personality Disorders, Domestic Violence, Anger Management and more. My treatment approach is very person centered, focused on you, the client, and what you want and are looking for.
My Background and Approach
Sessions have a “flexible structure” to them that includes 5-15 minutes of check in and updates from last session, 35 minutes of work on the symptoms that brought you to therapy and treatment plan goals/created goals, and 5-10 minutes of “debriefing” that includes a recap of the session, any homework assignments and plans for next session. Although there is a structure to my sessions, you can expect flexibility, openness and the freedom to go wherever you need to go during session.
