About My Clients
Are you a busy professional looking to overcome burnout or stress? Are you in a relationship that feels disconnected? Have you been feeling lost or unhappy? Do you feel like you are on the brink of ending your marriage? Are you searching for a private place to process, heal, or collaborate on a plan to feel better? I love working with clients who are motivated to find solutions, and draw on their strengths to enable greater contentment and satisfaction in life.
My Background and Approach
Originating from the tri state area, I completed my BA at Iona University and my MS at Monmouth University. Throughout my 12 year career I have worked with thousands of clients in a number of settings including inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, academia, and more recently overseeing several organizations as an executive. I have extensive experience with substance use disorders and addictions, high level career stress, attachment and mood disorders, and relational traumas. I particularly love working within family systems and relationships, as well as stress management in high achieving individuals. As a seasoned therapist I’m trained and skilled in several different therapeutic modalities that I’ll draw from, depending on your needs. In our first session we'll discuss your goals of therapy and review what has worked for you in the past.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I view therapy as a collaborative process, where your goals guide treatment. Therapy is a unique and personal process, and no two people’s experiences will look identical, even when following evidence-based therapies. I offer clients a private, supportive space that allows for reflection and growth. Privacy, confidentiality, and discretion are my top priorities. My hope is to assist you in moving towards a more present, balanced, and rewarding life. I invite you to reach out to me to determine if I’m the right person to help you.
