About My Clients

I see all ages for individuals, families, groups, couples, and parenting. We will focus foremost on building a nurturing, supportive, honest, and empathic interpersonal therapeutic relationship. I will meet you where you are, and help you identify, embrace, and support your strengths, vulnerabilities, and needs. Support is guided by your goals, & based in attachment and the relational neurosciences.

My Background and Approach

I am located in Montgomery County, MD and serve MD, DC, VA, DE, and PsyPact states. I am a licensed psychologist offering therapy, testing, supervision, workshops, and presentations. In therapy, I incorporate ACT, psychodynamic, play, Self-Compassion, expressive arts, and Mindfulness techniques. When testing, my approach is highly personalized. I seek to understand & support each ‘whole’ person, providing recommendations for every aspect of daily life. As a supervisor, my approach is to aid growth in providing affirming, empathic care. I am here for you, and our work together will be guided by your needs. I believe that every client is the expert on themselves, and my role is to help you reach your goals and embrace who you are as a unique individual. I welcome you to reach out with any questions. I am available for an initial free, brief phone consultation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My primary focus is on helping clients navigate neurodiversity. I support individuals, families, parents, and couples in understanding and supporting their neurotypes both for themselves and within relationships. I work with many individuals who are self-diagnosed, as well as those formally diagnosed or seeking clinical diagnosis. All are welcome. First and foremost, I will presume competence and meet you where you are. Therapy is guided by the individual. My approach is empathic, non-judgmental, and affirming. Support is based in the relational neurosciences. As Dr. Ross Greene would say, people "do well when they can." If you are struggling, I'll help you shift your lens to better understand and support yourself.
