About My Clients
Jacqueline is especially dedicated to creating a safe and affirming space for members of the poly/CNM, kink, and sex worker communities. Jacqueline also has experience working with LGBTQ+ and HIV-affected survivors of violence (interpersonal/sexual/hate/family/police). She has worked with clients experiencing mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, issues related to attachment, and psychotic disorders, as well as those seeking to explore their sexuality, gender identity, and relationship structures.
My Background and Approach
Jacqueline earned her Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers State University of New Jersey, along with a certificate in Violence Against Women & Children. She completed her undergraduate degree through the CUNY Baccalaureate Program for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies where she designed her own major in Sexuality & Gender, drawing from coursework in psychology, sociology, anthropology, and women’s studies. In addition to her work in private practice, Jacqueline is employed full-time as clinician in a private Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), where she supports clients with psychosocial injuries related to severe and persistent mental illness build meaningful lives in the community. Jacqueline takes an integrative and interpersonal approach to intervention and draws strongly from MBT, ACT, CBT/CPT, and DBT modalities. She is also trained in Exposure & Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) for treating adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Jacqueline is an advocate for gender equality and gender-based violence prevention. She is additionally passionate about comprehensive sex education and reproductive rights and health access.
