About My Clients
Have you ever felt curious about the wisdom your body holds? Or perhaps wonder how your mental health, bodies, lineages, and roots inform each other? Through transformative mental health practices, we will spark a greater connection that will ultimately act as a source for you to navigate through life's waves so you can thrive in abundance.
My Background and Approach
I've supported folks who have moved to NYC and experienced infidelity, LGBTQ+ issues, loss and grief, ADHD, anxiety, depression, racial issues, and many more. My experiences of working in community health, at an HIV/AIDS harm reduction organization, a transformative mental healthcare training institute, and facilitating an immigrant, Queer youth space have expanded my breadth of knowledge and capacity to support a diverse range of people and communities. A core principle I strive to embody in my practice is consent and accountability when walking alongside you on your own journey to your most authentic self. My eclectic approach looks like transformative mental health practices that go beyond traditional mental healthcare in the space we will co-create together. Let's experiment, fail, learn, and try it all over again together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My experiences as an Asian, Queer person who grew up in a working-class, multigenerational, immigrant family on unceded Lenapehoking have ingrained in me that I am a living, breathing, vessel of resistance. I carry the ancestral rage and grief of my ancestors who were forced to migrate out of their own village, where they maintained connection to land and sustenance. I see the harms assimilating into the white supremacist, global North can have on not only on our communities but also on the inner soul. Despite this, my lineages and their acts of resistance have served as some of the greatest lessons and stories that I carry with me to thrive abundantly. In processing how "the political is personal" and vice versa, I strive to carve a space out to hold, transform, and catalyze intersectional experiences into imagining the limitless possibilities we can take to envision a more liberated future.
