About My Clients
My clients typically present with a diverse set of emotional and behavioral symptoms that qualify for diagnoses of anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, PTSD, and addiction. I have worked with clients from age 4 to age 70 as couples, individuals, and families. Each client has begun therapy with me in their own stage of life with unique cultural, economic, and family backgrounds.
My Background and Approach
As a LCPC, my expertise is in trauma-informed psychotherapy. Disorders I treat most frequently include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, life transitions, autism, stress management, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. These challenges can look different for everyone, especially across various stages in life and often co-occur. My priority is to provide a positive, open, accepting, and safe place for clients to confront challenges. I use positive psychology, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, ACT, ReBT, and trauma-informed therapy among other approaches to foster growth. Attention is focused on the neuropsychological aspects underlying symptoms, rewiring through non-invasive therapy. I maintain regular training from world renown researchers in the areas of therapy I treat so as to remain connected to the most up to date research throughout your treatment.
