About My Clients

Kel works well with clients from the LGBTQ+ and particularly the transgender community as well as those who are chronically ill, non-monogamous, and/or engaged in social justice work. Kel also specializes in mindfulness-based interventions, play and sand-based therapy, grief, chronic pain, interpersonal trauma in childhood, support for non-traditional relationships/ families, and medical trauma. They have experience and welcome working with children, adolescents, and adults.

My Background and Approach

Kel views therapy as a sacred container capable of fostering genuine connection that enables authentic growth and transformation. They approach clients with acceptance, curiosity, openness and compassion to foster care, resilience, strength, hope, and overall well-being. Kel has a great deal of experience and training in mindfulness-based interventions, trauma, play and sand-based therapies, remote mental health services, and mental health care for the transgender community. They completed their PhD in School Psychology at Indiana University Bloomington and they have worked in community mental health, integrated care, university, and private practice settings providing a variety of group, individual, relationship and community-based services. Kel is also sex work and kink affirming and liberation is at the core of all their work. They look forward to hearing from you and to joining you on your journey.
