About My Clients

Adolescents and young adults experience a lot of transitions in just a few short years. I particularly enjoy working with this population and helping individuals navigate their world while also continuing to form their identity and realize their values. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, anger management, and trauma. I welcome patients of diverse backgrounds and am LGBTQIA+-allied, and BIPOC-allied.

My Background and Approach

Laura creates a safe environment for connection, healing, and growth. Through utilizing a person-centered and social justice framework she provides culturally responsive care that validates all aspects of identity. She works with children, adolescents and young adults in school and clinical settings. Her primary approach uses mindfulness-based CBT, DBT, Trauma-informed CBT and play therapy techniques. sessions are client-led, tailoring interventions to best achieve the your goals. Specialty areas include Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma. She has a master’s degree in Social Work and is a licensed clinician.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As previously mentioned, I (and the entire practice of clinicians I work with!) am unapologetically LGBTQIA+-allied, BIPOC-allied, and body positive. I believe that safe spaces matter and I am here to help create those for you, so that you can focus on your goals for therapy and moving in the direction of your values.
