My Background and Approach
The Holding Space is a group practice of holistic psychotherapists who have been trained in various modalities including psychodynamic, relational, developmental, cognitive, and art therapies. Our center was created with the intention of providing a safe space for our clients to freely explore the struggles that often block their experience of a more fully expressed life. The therapists at our center believe that in order to begin healing, we first need to feel safe enough to let someone in to facilitate that journey. By digging deep into ourselves, we are able to find the connection between our current struggles to wounds that were created long ago in childhood. Through empathy, radical acceptance, and action, we help our clients shift the old beliefs and create new ones.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I practice and administer various modalities of therapy because I have also received all of those modalities and have felt my own internal shifts from them! I will not/ can not take my clients places that I have not been so I make sure to explore my own inner depths including fears, traumas, and stuckness before I attempt to take you through yours. For my entire life, I have explored different ways to heal, learn, and grow. I have had challenges that I have had to work through and continue to face throughout my life. The combination of my professional skills and techniques with my life experience create a unique and deep container for us to work out of. I offer attunement first and foremost because every individual is different and requires specific care. Through our relationship that we form in the room, I get to know what your individual self needs, wants, and has possibly never gotten before.
