About My Clients
I offer individual and relationship therapy using attachment based therapies, solution-focused brief therapy, and Gestalt self-compassion techniques. I have worked with foster youth, couples, families, veterans, BIPOC and the LGBTQ community. I have found my work to be professionally rewarding by assisting people in reaching their goals. In addition, I’m committed to advocating for people with disabilities and diverse populations. You can book with me by giving me a call.
My Background and Approach
My approach is always in creating a safe, caring, and client centered environment. On our first session, I will get a feel for the areas in your life you want to work on and assist you in feeling relief in addition to providing tools and fulfillment exercises between sessions. To gain a broader perspective, I will inquire about biological, psychological, and your social understanding of yourself and family members. We’ll address your immediate needs, identify goals, and collaboratively create your treatment plan within the first few sessions. I will offer different types of therapy in our sessions as I get to know you, but it's ultimately up to you in what suits you best and your preferences. I offer fulfillment exercises in between sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's easy to feel isolated and disappointed in life, but there are often other options. Finding the right people, activities, and practicing hope can lead one out of depression and anxiety. I believe no matter what background a person can be capable of taking care of themselves and finding peace. Therapy works. I've seen it work with couples, veterans, and inner children of any age. Life can be incredibly fulfilling when we learn new approaches to life and heal through therapy and new ways of doing life! I also believe people need to be cared and advocated for which is why I do this in my therapy sessions and for people with neurodivergence and diversity.
