As a licensed clinical social worker, I bring 7 years of experience in providing affirming and culturally competent therapy. My mission is to create a therapeutic alliance that honors and validates your identity, empowering you to navigate the complexities of self-discovery and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, person-centered and evidence-based (CBT/DBT/ACT), rooted in respect, empathy, and understanding. I'm a certified clinical trauma professional, trained in EMDR. I recognize that each person's journey is deeply personal, and I'm here to provide a non-judgmental space where you can explore, express, and embrace your authentic self. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an "out" queer, trans, nonbinary therapist (AFAB). I'm anti-racist, and actively about fostering community and dismantling structural oppressions. I started my career as a medical social worker and have lots of experience working with people with physical health issues and their partners/families/caregivers, including people with HIV/AIDS, chronic illnesses, and end of life. I identify as neurodiverse and genuinely like people. I'm a preacher's kid raised in the US South, embrace multiple and no faiths, and have experience working with religious trauma.
