About My Clients
Do you want more contentment, more clarity, or more help concentrating? Do you want help in overcoming external barriers, such as a job you don’t like, a relationship that causes stress, or health concerns? Do you want to overcome internal barriers, such as anxiety, low self-esteem, addiction, or traumatic memories? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, I might be a good fit for you.
My Background and Approach
As your counselor, I could collaborate with you to build awareness of what you’d like in life, uncover steps on how to achieve your goals, and practice acceptance. I'll offer you coping tools to help you feel more control over mood and symptoms. Since graduating with my Masters degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago in 2021, I have provided therapy in private practice, hospital, and community mental health settings. Prior to going to graduate school, I have years of experience serving underserved populations in nonprofit and education settings.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a counselor because I have a passion for connecting deeply with others, affirming folx' stories, and fighting for social justice. I have personal experience with being a part of the LBGTQIA+community, neurodivergence, disability, and chronic pain. I come from a spiritual background that honors the inherent worth and dignity of every person, and I apply that value every day as a therapist. If you'd like to learn more about my values, please send me a message and I'd love to talk with you!
