About My Clients
My mission as a therapist is to empower individuals in navigating their unique areas of struggle by providing a safe and supportive space for healing. I specialize in addressing various mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, gender identity, suicidal ideation/self-harm, and other internal or external difficulties. I meet clients where they are in their mental health journey, tailoring my approach to provide the most suitable and individualized assistance.
My Background and Approach
I offer person-centered therapy, utilizing an integrated approach that remains authentic to each client's individual needs. With extensive experience in play therapy, I find immense joy in this facet of mental health therapy. My expertise lies in working with children and teenagers who grapple with overwhelming emotions and significant life transitions. By helping them develop coping skills and emotional regulation, I guide them towards personal growth and self-actualization. Having served as a Veteran, firefighter, and EMT, I intimately understand the impact of trauma on individuals. Drawing on my personal experiences and employing trauma-informed modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
