My ideal patient is the one who is seeking help. They may not know what their particular issue is, but we would work together to make a thorough assessment for an array of conditions such as Mood Disorders (Depression, Bipolar Disorder), Substance Abuse, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic/Thought Disorders, Childhood ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc.
My Background and Approach
I treat patients as a whole person, making sure to understand all factors that may be contributing to one's presentation. In this style of treatment, the patient is not just a patient, but a participating member of the treatment team, working alongside myself to craft an individualized plan of care via medication management and therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people should be treated with the dignity and empathy and particularly in the mental health space, should be provided the highest level of care as well as education about their particular condition, as well as the proposed treatment.
