About My Clients
I use client-first approach in my work. Whether you’re a young person feeling overwhelmed, a couple looking to reconnect, or an individual working toward body acceptance, I see you. In therapy, I blend kindness, humor, and warmth to create a space where you can feel heard. Together, we’ll build tools to manage anxiety, depression, and change— finding light even in some of our toughest moments.
My Background and Approach
I’m a student therapist currently working toward my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a clinician, I look forward to holding space and providing support for individuals, couples, and families as they bravely navigate their journey. I am passionate about creating spaces where people can come together, feel heard, and use laughter and connection to heal, and I strive to bring this value in my work as a clinician. It is important to me to use an intersectional framework and develop a therapeutic relationship in which each client feels heard and empowered to make choices about their journey. I have extensive experience working with women, parents, young adults, and youth (0-18). My professional experiences as an educator and matchmaker, paired with my personal experience in community organizing has provided me with a unique perspective that I’m eager to bring to work with couples, with family systems, and in sex therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about living in line with my values and commit a lot of free time to supporting causes I care about. I have been organizing and involved in intersectional feminist spaces and an active member in the LGBTQ+ community for over ten years. I strive to lead an antiracist life and proudly support the BLM movement and the liberation of all people. I admire, value, and support the work that my fellow activists do across different realms like environmental justice, immigration, labor, and healthcare-- knowing that none of us can make changes alone as it is inherently an intersectional effort.
