My Background and Approach
Therapy can hold a space of exploring where our inner observer is hiding and how we can pull their reaching hand through the unconscious rubble. Where we can point to elements in our self dialogue that fuel our dissatisfaction. Where we can feel the emotions that are in cohesion with our experience. This is where change lies and where we as an alliance can help facilitate a life you've been waiting to embark on. Whether it is addiction, familial conflict, identity disarray, lack of passion, anxiety spirals. depressive bruising, or relationship chaos, I offer you the space where we can combat these psychic tensions, together. I work from a psychodynamic perspective, a cognitive behavioral standpoint, an integrative approach, an existential perspective, mindfulness oriented, a Buddhist lens, solution focused, and humanistic modality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My moral/ethical/humanistic landscape is open to any/every walk of life. The intersections of what shape our humanity/identity/personal and collective causes are essential in understanding ourselves in relation to the world. I believe our personal stories and the power in transmuting our traumas can help develop a stronger world and bolster movements that lend a roaring voice to those who have unfortunately become voiceless. I am blessed to share the opportunity to walk alongside the paths of many LGBTQ+ individuals, racial and religious groups, socioeconomic backgrounds, and those discovering their spiritual path.
