About My Clients
I have worked with a wide variety of clients, and I especially enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, women, and teens. I am experienced in working with parents and children in the child welfare system as well as preteens and teens.
My Background and Approach
I studied at Boise State University where I obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on working with marginalized communities. I am a licensed clinical social worker and I am also certified in mediation. I use eclectic therapy, which is an approach that draws on multiple techniques to find the best combination for each individual client. I combine techniques from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and more to best meet your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a compassionate and encouraging therapist and an attentive listener. I understand how hard it can be to seek help or to open up to a new person. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental situation in which to process anything you might need to. I believe that counseling is the process of working toward understanding yourself to have a happy and fulfilled life. I really enjoy helping others through that process.
