Did you know Binge Eating Disorder (BED) affects 60% of Americans and is the leading cause for type 2 diabetes? Most people with BED go undiagnosed and people suffer in silence. I have dedicated the last ten years of my studies to creating new treatment methods for those suffering with food addiction, emotional eating, unquenchable cravings and the symptomatic trauma and stress thats associated. My treatment for BED combines all the necessary remediation needed to help control the binge cycle.

Nothing compares to the desire to have children and facing roadblocks. It's a very lonely feeling and intrapersonal questions arise that make us doubt ourselves and our abilities. I have first-hand experience with infertility and successfully being on the other side with experience of all the associated emotions giving me ultimate empathy for our therapeutic relationship.

Trauma occurs in childhood with possible life-long consequences. Trauma can be any unresolved issue our mind is still grappling with either on the conscious or unconscious level. Trauma doesn't just go away on its own, it needs to be worked through for healthy resolution to achieve a life of wellness.

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is an action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that stems from traditional behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Clients learn to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their inner emotions and, instead, accept that these deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent them from moving forward in their lives. With this understanding, clients begin to accept their issues and commit to change.
