About My Clients

In therapy, I accompany clients on their path to navigate life’s challenges, process losses and trauma, or examine the internal landscape that shapes who they are. I prioritize co-creating a space that fosters personal agency, autonomy, and authenticity by encouraging an environment of radical consent and self-acceptance. I believe individuals are experts in their lives equipped with inner resources and skills that can provide healing and growth in relationship to themself and others.

My Background and Approach

Our worlds are composed of an array of unique and complex interpersonal ecosystems. I offer a holistic approach to therapy by practicing through a systemic lens to explore individual's colorful and intricate relational tapestries, while also considering the impact of societal systems. My practice focuses on fostering personal empowerment, empathy, strength, and self-discovery. Life is made up of a multitude of peaks and valleys; sometimes the way forward is well traveled with a more defined path, other times it involves bushwhacking, traversing, and trail finding. Navigating the winding trail of life can be exciting & beautiful, while also feeling treacherous & scary. Whether we are traversing rocky landscapes or cruising through foothills; I’m here to accompany you wherever your journey may lead. With patience and curiosity we can collaborate on ways to access the personal resilience to face life’s challenges and navigate a path forward at a pace that fits you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe the path towards growth & healing is unique to each individual & not necessarily a linear process. I utilize a harm-reduction framework in therapy with the intent of instilling self-compassion and minimizing shame in the work I do with clients. Our wounds don't define who we are, but they do have a story to tell. I practice a trauma-informed approach to narrative therapy through a systemic lens. I incorporate multicultural perspectives, polyvagal practices, attachment theory, and IFS-informed parts work into my therapeutic approach. I offer therapy through a lens of liberation, anti-oppression and decolonization; prioritizing the cultivation of a de-pathologizing space for individuals to explore their relationship to themself, their communities, and the world around them. I prioritize meeting my clients where ever they may be in their journey of growth; working to collaboratively create a therapeutic container that is generative, sustainable, and unique to each individual.
