About My Clients

Maybe you feel overwhelmed with college life, struggling with depression and anxiety, navigating intersectional identities, feeling isolated or misunderstood, dealing with the aftermath of psychiatric care or hospitalization, or considering a leave of absence from school. I believe healing and change take place in relationship - it does not involve a diagnosis from me; it is your experience that matters. I hope to create a safe, person-centered, anti-oppressive, and non-judgmental space for you.

My Background and Approach

As a doctoral student in clinical psychology, I strive to develop professional competency. I also deeply value lived experiences and can provide peer support, spiritual discernment, and/or Christian counseling in a non-clinical setting. If traditional therapy hasn’t worked for you, or if you're looking for a low-cost, affordable service, I'm here for you. I have led peer support and mental health advocacy groups and served on many national mental health boards. I also specialize in working with international students' cultural adjustment. Having navigated the difficulties of college life and the mental health system myself, I am proud of your courage to reach out and look forward to supporting you.

I have experience with the following
  • Atheism
  • Buddhism
  • Christianity
  • Taoism
  • Interfaith
  • Multifaith
