I personally have lived with depression from a very young age. I utilize cognitive behavioral approaches alongside with acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and Eastern medicine which all together synergistically help you to identify the root of the depression and begin to rewrite the script of your life. I will give you practical tools which can be used to rise above your current struggles.

I have lived with fibromyalgia and severe degenerative disc disease since young teenage hood. Before employing the tools I am excited to share with you, I was unable to walk and had given up on life. Now I am significantly more active and can cope better with the rough times. We will work with Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, lifestyle changes, breathing exercises, vagus nerve toning, and energetic healing to bring light to your life once again.

My earliest memories involved stomach aches, worrying about the “what if” and having trouble sleeping. Of course I still have anxiety, but it fits inside of my pocket now rather than pulling me around. We will work together in this therapeutic space to give you practical tools to address your anxiety and change your relationship with it in a way that better serves you. I will show you techniques which soothe the central nervous system and break this cycle that has been holding you back.

I have worked in a home based therapy setting since 2016 treating a vast array of issues with a client population of high severity. In order to provide successful therapy, I have had to continually expand my professional capabilities by regularly attending trainings and utilizing components from a wide range of treatment modalities. In addition to western therapy, I have certifications in yoga, Reiki, and other forms of Eastern Medicine which have profound impacts on wellness.

I have attended Cognitive Behavioral Therapy trainings through the Beck institute and other organizations, successfully utilized this treatment modality with well over 10 clients since 2016. I have also used CBT to transform my personal and professional life.

I firmly believe that in order to grow and adapt, we have to have meaningful experiences. Personal engagement is the cornerstone of my therapy practice. You will leave the very first session with practical tools to begin to make meaningful changes in your life.
