I have over 10 years working in inpatient psychiatric facilities with those diagnosed with BLPD and dual diagnoses. I am comfortable providing DBT and mindfulness approaches from a warm, understanding, and compassionate perspective. I believe that personality disorders are the result of a lack of love and understand that with application of unconditional love for self a person can heal!

I consider myself a Jesus loving EXvangelical. I am victim of spiritual/religious abuse and have seen and experienced the negative effects of purity culture, toxic masculinity, and the lack of true empathy and grace within traditional church settings. I aspire to provide a safe environment to deconstruct/reconstruct your faith! My foundation is Love and I will do my best to provide a loving environment for you to grieve and grow.

I am very passionate about cultivating an environment and approach that affirms all types of relationships. I have personal and professional experience in infidelity, consensual nonmonogamy, divorce, and coparenting. I very much value and respect the institution of marriage and also acknowledge that not all things are meant to last. I will provide a space for you to work through the unique challenges in your relationships.

Relationships are important. Whether you desire deep intimate or casual friendships, learning to relate and manage conflict is essential to sustaining long term relationships. I am comfortable working with couples, parents and children, extended family, friends, and working relationships. I will create a space where all parties will be heard and feel comfortable to approach their relationships at their own pace.

No family is perfect and all families have some maladaptive coping and communication experiences. It's safe to explore new ways of doing "family", traditions, and new approaches to your often closest relationships. As we work through boundaries and codependency, you'll be able to make choices about how much contact and involvement you would like in each of these relationships. Family therapy for groups/large systems is also an option.

Our emotions are how we connect to the deepest parts of us and others. Just like breathing, emotions will leave you feeling suffocated and nearly dead of not felt. Emotions can feel scary but in truth, they are like waves. Learning to ride the wave with peace and grace will help you feel confident in all areas of your life! Your emotions are the gateway to your freedom!
