About My Clients
My clients are open to exploring what they want for themselves. They are curious and want to uncover the seeds of hope that will support them in growing and healing. Because of the relationality of my work, I collaborate with all stages and walks of life. However, I seem to attract people in Gen YZ. My clinical specialties include eating disorders, religious trauma, relationship trauma, (couples/family), and working with other therapists.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Therapist and have trained extensively in the NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model). I have worked with adults and young adults with a range of symptoms and intentions in a private practice setting. In 2024, I opened my private practice and love working from my home office. My approach focuses on the causes beneath the symptoms. I use this analogy: When your service engine light goes on, replacing the light bulb doesn't fix the issue. You have to address whatever is under the hood. I started every session with the question: "What do you want for yourself from the session today?" Once we settle on your intention, we explore what might be getting in the way of experiencing what you want. How do you relate to yourself in as things happen and you react to them? What emotions and beliefs shape your decisions and perspectives about the world and what you hold true about yourself?
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that relationships are the most important compass we cultivate for ourselves. And that includes the relationship we have with ourselves. To authentically and heartfully exist, our self-awareness and curiosity become the backdrop of finding new ways to relate to ourselves and our experiences. And once we relate to ourselves differently, we relate to others differently, too. Ultimately, we all long for connection, belonging, and a sense of just being okay as we shop up in life.
