About My Clients
I work with children, teens, adults, and families, and I specialize in trauma-informed practices and experiential modalities. My clients come from all backgrounds, and my primary focus has been working with children and teens. I tailor treatment plans to each individual, from a collaborative and holistic approach. I support my clients with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, family dynamics, neurodivergent challenges, gender/sexuality questions, and more.
My Background and Approach
I offer several therapeutic tools that integrate evidence-based practices and creativity, including play therapy, sand tray therapy, and art therapy directives. My goal is to help you develop new coping skills, uncover your inner strengths, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges. As someone who is passionate about supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients, I understand how vital it is to approach therapy with an affirming and inclusive lens. These communities are a core part of my identity, and I’m committed to providing a space where you can feel seen and heard, no matter where you are in your personal journey. When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time with my cat, reading, traveling, and roller-skating. I believe in the healing power of creativity and exploration, and I bring these passions into my work as well. If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey, I’d be honored to support you. Together, we can create meaningful change in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about serving my community with years of volunteer experience, and I actively engage in social causes. I believe in equitable services to all populations, with emphasis on marginalized and disenfranchised communities. I believe in lifelong learning, and that it is my responsibility to educate myself on diverse perspectives. I am always practicing cultural humility, and making sure I advocate for others. As a member of the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, I understand the need for support in an affirming, nonjudgmental space.
