About My Clients

While I am open to working with all populations, I am specialized in complex trauma, LGBTQ+, and neuro-divergence. I enjoy parent coaching and working with teenagers as well as couples. I have many years experience working with relational dynamics in different capacities. While I do see individuals, I am a systems therapist, and roommates, colleagues, bandmates, teammates, etc. are all encouraged to seek mediation.

My Background and Approach

My work is trauma-informed and I have experience with serving people in many different crisis and suffering scenarios. I am happy to work with people on many spectrums and those who are at different points in their process and identities. Together we will work and play towards the change you want and need. I feel that the balance between the mental, emotional, and physical body of a person, is integral to sustainability and health. Together, we’ll utilize cognitive modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. We will practice emotion-focused therapies and touch upon body-centered approaches such as Somatic Therapy, Plant Medicine Inquiries, and Polyvagal exercises. All of these are done with your consent. Foundationally, I have a person-centered and humanistic approach utilizing aspects of Narrative, Jungian, and Gestalt Therapy. In therapy, we are collaborators, and ultimately, you are the expert of your truth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that validation is paramount and goes far in healing. Additionally, occasional challenges, poignant critiques, and tension can do a lot for growth and if you’re willing to go to those places, we can in the doses you feel comfortable with, and at your own pace! Humor is an excellent tool to help with that process, but it’s certainly not required. The only real requirement of therapy, is to show up. With this in body-heart-mind, I hope to hold a non-judgemental and attentive container for you– one in which you’re comfortable to explore yourself, your experiences, and your chosen path.
