About My Clients
I have a wide breadth of clinical experience including addiction, anxiety, trauma, grief, phase of life transitions, and relational concerns. I work with children, adolescents, and adult clients of all identities and backgrounds. I received comprehensive clinical training working with a variety of clients including families and couples, and facilitated groups for those in recovery from substance use disorder.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in a person-centered, psychoanalytically-informed lens. I prioritize the client’s needs and agency, recognizing the complex intersections of our different histories, and how these inform our experience in the present. I believe that therapy can act as a container for our uncomfortable thoughts and feelings to bring relief and empowerment into our lives. The creation of a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space attuned to each client's unique emotional exploration is the driving force of growth and change in my therapeutic orientation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Jolie is committed to an anti-racist, fully inclusive and affirmative perspective to psychotherapy and approaches her work with clients with care, sensitivity and respect for their unique, diverse identities.
