About My Clients
My clients range from children, adolescents, adults, couples, geriatrics, with these populations to serve I am involved continually fine tuning my skills as a clinician. All of my clients bring different needs to our counseling room, it is my honor assisting my clients to facilitate change in their lives.
My Background and Approach
Mrs. Fay graduated from Barry University with a Master in Social Work , Mrs. Fay has over 17+ years of experience helping clients with varied needs. Mrs. Fay is licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, during and after the COVID 19 Pandemic of 2020, Mrs. Fay was provisionally licensed in several other states in an attempt to bring mental health counseling to people dealing with stress related to the pandemic and the aftermath of the pandemic. Mrs Fay uses an eclectic approach to therapeutic interventions, which means she tailors her intervention to the needs of the specific client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Originally from Miami (born and raised), I have resided in Central Florida since 2012. My family and I have four cats and four small dogs, some inherited from family members and some from children who have gone away to college and returned home with them LOL One is our fur grand baby who stays with the others of the pack daily while his mother, my adult daughter works. My husband and I have a two year old granddaughter, our first grandchild, who we are crazy about! Family is very important to me, my daughters live near us, however,in regards extended family, like everyone's, they can be unique at times. I am a spiritual person, a Christian, who is very ecumenical and appreciates all forms of spiritual belief. I also believe people have a right to choose a lifestyle they can be happy and fulfilled in, diversity in people and spirituality add a beautiful flavor to life. I grew up in Miami amid many cultures, so cultural differences are not new to me, I embrace them.
