About My Clients
Are you struggling with validating yourself, thoughts, and feelings? Do you struggle with queer issues, along with mental health concerns? Do you want to feel heard, seen, understood, and experience a nonjudgmental environment? I know how you're feeling, and I want to help you feel confident in your identity and conquer your mental health concerns. You make your meaning, I'm just here to help guide you as you find it.
My Background and Approach
I currently have a Bachelor's in Sociology, which I attained in 2021. I believe that social and cultural influences do affect us in our day to day life, and that all aspects of a person and their experiences have to be taken into account and understood for an individual to truly feel heard, seen, and understood themselves. I approach therapy from a primarily existential perspective, along with solution focused therapy. You are the expert of your life, and I want to help you along the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can grow and change throughout their life. I am a member of the queer community myself. I am bisexual, and a majority of my friend group and close relationships are with other queer individuals. I have been in therapy myself for several years to help with my ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I have gained control of my life and finally feel confident in myself, and I want you to feel the same. As for my personal beliefs, I have marched in protests for women's rights and donated to the PCRF. I am pagan, I love nature and animals, and have multiple succulents. As a fun side note, I have two black cats, Halinka and Jiggy, and two guinea pigs, Traditional Rotisserie Chicken, and her daughter, Lemon Pepper.
