About My Clients

Perhaps you're here because something feels off, difficult, or just… heavy. You might be actively searching for support, or maybe you're just tentatively exploring the idea of therapy. You know you need a space where you won't just be accepted, but truly understood – a place where your identity as isn't just a footnote, but a central, respected part of your story. I heal both mind and body from abuse, attachment wounds, isolation, and self-doubt or hatred.

My Background and Approach

With twenty years of experience, I have created a unique approach for both teens and adults in therapy. I focus on the belief that healing happens when we tend to the whole person – mind, body, heart, and spirit. These struggles – anxiety, depression, that deep-seated feeling of ‘not good enough’ – they aren't just happening in your head. They live in your body: the tension in your shoulders, the knot in your stomach, the fatigue that clings to you. They echo in your relationships: the push-and-pull, the fear of getting too close or being left behind, the patterns you see repeating despite your best efforts. These are often the echoes of early attachment experiences, the blueprints laid down long ago about safety, trust, and your own worthiness. Together we find the root-cause of the pain, build trust and mentorship, look toward your future, and heal the whole family and ensure that this healing is permanent. This is possible, and we will get there together, and no longer alone.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I began my career 20 years ago supporting survivors of domestic violence in the court system. This included rape, narcissistic abuse, and the worst that relationships can bring. Over time this passion led me to social justice work in the community, for non-profits, in schools, and in the hospital system. My own history of trauma as a teenager was given the space for personal healing through this work. Now my practice is focused on creating an inclusive space, where everyone in the community can find safety, understanding, and know that I can relate deeply to your pain. As the world is changing in a way that is narrowing our understanding of others, it is more important than ever to engage in therapy to find strength in your future. I assure you that during hard times we can come together as a community as well as in your confidential session. You can find an ally, a mentor, and someone you can trust as you learn about yourself and your strengths. I never shy away from treating trauma.
