About My Clients
I provide thorough and comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations and recommend solutions to a range of issues for individuals, couples, families, and groups from ages 24 to 99. I specialize in treating a variety of mental health disorders, as well as serving those satisfying court-ordered treatment, active-duty service members, veterans, LGBTQI+ populations, all races and ethnicities; as well as private and government agencies (local, county, state, and federal).
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She also holds as additional qualification as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and is an approved Clinical Supervisor in Maryland. I have worked in the field of human service for over 20 years in various capacities. I currently serve as the CEO of Lancaster, Frazier, and Associates and the Executive Director of Diversified Lifestyle Services. My approach is grounded in the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with an integration of techniques from other psychological approaches to promote personal growth and healing. I also provide clinical supervision and training to aspiring counselors. My research interest consists of family systems and the exploration of trans-generational trauma as well as sexual health awareness across the life span.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see life as a journey filled with twists and turns that can cause us to become stuck and in need of assistance to overcome a presenting obstacle. The therapeutic relationship can be a catalyst to increase self-understanding, manage challenging situations, and achieve fulfillment. I recommend and advocate for quality and inclusive mental health services for all.
